MICHAEL MCBAINAlthough best known for his incredible tap technique, Michael spent three years with the San Francisco Ballet Company. His appearances on the Hollywood Palace Show with Donald O’Connor, The Red Skelton Show, and the Carol Burnett Show won him plaudits as the finest tap dancer/choreographer on the west coast. Michael was the choreographer for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour for two seasons and personal choreographer to Donald O’Connor. For the past 25 years, Michael’s talents and management skills have kept him on-the-road touring The United States and Canada with nationally renowned dance conventions. Beyond his role as master tap teacher/choreographer to over 150,000 students, Michael now brings to you the most comprehensive organization in dance.JASON MYHREJason Myhre has performed in numerous industrials for Disney, Kraft, Six Flags, and showcases around the Los Angeles area. He is one of Hollywood’s top choreographers. Jason’s choreography highlights include working with Rihanna, Robin Thicke, Paulina Rubio, Ciara, Amerie, Shakira, Mariah Carey, The Pussycat Dolls, Babyface, Ricky Martin, Janet Jackson, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Stacie Orrico, Anastacia, Lil’ Kim, Jade, Expose, LA Clipper Girls, Kristi Yamaguchi, Rory Flack-Burghart, Old Navy, the Wayans Brothers hit movie “White Chicks”, television shows for FOX and ABC. Jason has worked with artists on World Tours, Music Videos as well as television specials. He also teaches at Loyola Marymount University, EDGE Performing Arts Center, and master classes across the nation, and in Guatemala.KRISTY KANEKristy is a familiar face to convention attendees, having traveled over 12 years with national dance conventions. Her expertise in ballet, pas de deux, lyrical, and jazz has titled her Best Choreographer and Teacher of the Year at both regional and national competitions for several years running. Kristy also has an extensive background in musical theater and has choreographed “West Side Story”, “Grease”, “Oklahoma", "Guys and Dolls”, and “High School Musical” to name a few. Her choreography for the L.A Clippers and The Osmond Brothers has been praised by the Hollywood community. Kristy has not only taught master classes for studios, colleges, and dance seminars across the U.S. and Canada but is also owner / artistic director of Kane Dance Academy in Southern California where she enjoys working with students of all ages and directing their progress and their growing love for dance. Kristy is happy to say she was on the faculty for Hollywood Dance Experience’s Premier Tour!NICK LONGNick Long is an enthusiastic teacher who has been all over the globe teaching hip hop, jazz, and jazz funk to beginner through professional dancers. Nick began his professional career as head choreographer and artistic director of “Hip Hop Coalition”. He has danced with “Nebellen Dance Troupe”, “Automatic Response” (featured on “America’s Best Dance Crew”), and worked with today’s hottest choreographers. Marty Kudella, Melanie Benz, Phlex, and Brian Friedman to name a few. Nick, now on faculty at the Loyola Marymount University dance department has choreographed for the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Team, and has done work for Wells Fargo, Ice Breakers, Intel, Human Beatbox, Rahzel, Dance Music DJ Paul Van Dyk and Perry Farrell as well as opening for pop diva Cher and hip hop dance legend "The Crutchmaster". Most recently Nick worked on the tv pilot "Cooking's a Drag". Nick likes to share his knowledge of dance with all ages and levels, and hopes to inspire young dancers through his excitement for dance.BROOKE PAULSENBrooke Paulsen’s work is raw, provocative and real. She has appeared on tours, television shows and film. Paulina Rubio and Pink are just a few artists that she has worked with. She has appeared on the television shows “Young and the Restless”, “The Nikki Cox Show”, “American Juniors” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”. She was a cast member on “The Jerry Lewis Telethon” choreographed by Jason Samuel Smith, which won an Emmy Award. Having worked with tap heavyweights Jason Samuel Smith and Fayard Nicholas, Brooke remains one of LA’s most respected tappers. She also appeared in the movie “Rollerball” starring LL Cool J and Chris Klein. She has been a member of “Tapsounds Underground” for seven years under the direction of Gregg Russell. She has worked with the hottest choreographers in LA such as Marty Kudelka, Fatima, Brian Friedman and Shawnette Heard. But above all, she loves to teach, choreograph and inspire. MELISSA SNOWMelissa began her career at age 6. She filmed and performed in numerous T.V. shows, including “Family Ties” and “Rags to Riches”. While under contract with the Disney Company, Melissa did print work, filmed television specials and commercials, and was principal dancer in several Disney stage shows. She has worked with Michael J. Fox, Little Richard, Dick Van Dyke, Chubby Checker, and Frankie Avalon to name a few. Melissa has passed on her experience in Hollywood teaching, choreographing, and now directing with the prestigious Ahwatukee Children’s Theater. Melissa brings to you her love and enthusiasm for dance, kids, and their individual progress.
